went the store and got all of the necessaries and unnecessaries before the next storm hits. this next one is supposed to be The Storm and so everyone is freaking out, including me. 70 mph sustained winds with 90 mph gusts sounds like a hurricane to me, but they don't call them that here. you'd think they would.
and snow. woo. so. a blizzard then.
i have my cheezits. BRING IT ON.

ps there were 17 checkstands open at the supermarket we went to, and there were at least ten people lined up at every single one. that's 170 people in line waiting to checkout at the register at any given time. we were lucky to get in a fast-moving line, and i'd say we waited about 35 minutes to check out. wow.
