Today was good at church - some of the kids are "graduating" to middle school so I gave them some fun devotional/prizes in front of church today and the church prayed for them. It was exciting to see the church take time to pray for the kids. Unfortunately, I haven't seen that before... not since I've been attending. So I hope it's a good start.

Meanwhile, I'm still alone teaching the class every Sunday morning and one other teacher teaches the smaller kids (kid) - still no one interested in helping with Sunday school/kids program or being involved. I wonder if they wonder why they don't more than 4 regular children attending Sunday mornings??

I am excited about this Thursday - we are starting a youth group - it's going to be small at first, we are basically doing a cold start, no existing "youth", no "youth pastor" or youth leaders, just me and my friend Jen and Josh of course. Step of faith, that's for sure.
