waterslides

we had our first youth outing as an official youth group yesterday.

ok. so this one time me and tessa went on all these terrifying roller coasters at six flag ( no flags no fun!! ) and there was this superman ride or something and it was ridiculous and i was scarred for life. and i was like, man, nothing could ever be that scary... that terrifying...

but i realized some things as yesterday i slid to what i thought at the end of the waterslide would be my black watery grave:

waterslides are a lot like roller coaster in the fact that they combine speed and sharp turns and that feeling of being out of control as well as enclosing you in a small space, and sometimes it was completely pitch black and other times it would flip you over.

add to my fears of feeling out of control, speed, heights (like on rollercoasters) and then include:

fear of water and drowning
fear of germs
....
there is no seatbelt.

awesome.

the kids LOVED it. we are totally going to do another event!! just something less....waterslide-ish....
