November is BIIIG storm season around here, but much more so since I've moved farther north. I mean in a HOLY CRAP OUR HOUSE IS GOING TO BLOW AWAY type of way. We had a few tree sized branches that were near misses to our roof, and these were from trees that look MUCH too far away to be coming that close to our house?? I mean they are like in the neighbors yard? Not to mention the looming maple tree that is right next to our house. That is just watching, and waiting... til the right moment... to send a spike of death into my bedroom when I'm sleeping... sealing my fate forever.
Anyway, it's hella windy out. Some of my patients didn't make it to clinic today because they were scared they couldn't keep their cars on the road (pshaw, those 88 year olds are such wusses. jk.)
It's kinda cool, 'cause its like so powerful and AWESOME when the weather gets all crazy and scary. And sometimes the power going out is relaxing. Until your food spoils.
