Dear Avril

Dearest Avril,

Hey, hey! You, you! I don't like your music! No way, no way! I really think it's stup-id! Hey, hey! You, you! I wish you'd go away! *strumming power chords*

I'm like so whatever. I could do so much better. I hate canadian pop stations. But that's all that's in reception!

Sincerely,

Me.

Yes, yes, people; the joys and struggles of living so close to Canada. I get all of their free television, which is mostly American shows anyway and the occassional broadcast in French. Also, all of the radio stations are from Vancouver, B.C. Now, not so different from American music, except for their absolute obsession with Avril Lavigne (and the Scissor Sisters), and not just on the pop music stations. Someone needs to tell Canadians that Avril is not soft rock. Avril is not oldies. Avril is not the best mix of the 80s, 90s and today. Avril is not smooth jazz. Yes, I know you're excited that she's candadian. We get that.
