thanksgiving time

My aunt is due to have that baby any day now, and I'm thankful for a new cousin. I haven't had a new cousin in almost sixteen years. It's always been the five of us kids at thanksgiving, and now we're starting to be all 'growed up' so it's time for somebody to be having babies. And I would prefer to leave that job to my dad's younger siblings instead of people looking to me right away.

It'll be nice to have a cute baby around at Christmas.

Nothing else really major going on anytime soon, I don't think. Work is pretty subdued lately although I see CHF exacerbations in my very near future (Monday. High sodium holiday diets = fluid volume overload coming back to haunt them). I already re-stocked the IV lasix.

Actually church will be rather busy the next couple of weeks because of the holidays. People tend to go to church more around Christmastime which I still don't really understand.

In conclusion, I'm thankful Thanksgiving is over so I can be at my own home, no more driving, traffic and ferry systems, no more extended family.
