blizzard

Global warming this is not.

The weather really wasn't so bad on the way to work this morning, my wonderful husband who is an excellent driver got me to work, and barely got himself back home. However, it was apparent by 10 AM that the winds were picking up and the snow was not going to stop falling.

Luckily, my co-worker has a 4-wheel drive Jeep and was able to drive me almost all the way home, I walked a few blocks and Josh was able to drive me the rest of the way from there. By that time, we were basically plowing through the snow until we made it to the garage. For some reason, no one in this county has snow plows. I've seen one sander truck, who came by once, but besides that it's just snow, on top of compact snow, on top of ice.

I doubt I'll be going to make it to work tomorrow.

Anyway, a quiet evening at home tonight. Josh is making spaghetti, I'm watching Conan O'Brien shows I Tivo'd and looking forward to eating dinner with Josh and just taking our time, spending time together at home. Winter isn't so bad. :)
