even though it was 100 degrees for awhile, my garden survived - and i had the first ripe big beefsteak tomato (i dunno really what variety it is but thats what it looks like to me) and it was so sweet, so juicy, i can't wait to taste the next ones that ripen. i've also got cucumbers and red onions (just need feta and olives now) and i have lots of basil (just need mozzarella for caprese salad!)
oh i am just sooooo happy today
