12 of the 29 patients seen today had dizziness, syncope, chest pain or shortness of breath or all of the above. I got off work late, tired, no lunch. Patients called all day on the phone. Wahh wahh wahhhhh, I need my medicine, wahhh, I'm in paaain.
Bah. As you may have noticed, empathy days are over for this nurse. Well, until the weekend is over anyway. Our unit is understaffed, underappreciated and underpaid. So there.
But tonight I got to go out to dinner at The Keg with my "right" side of the family. Hee. MMmmm. Steak.
