So it's been raining for I don't know how long, maybe a month, maybe more. There really isn't a lot to do, it is so cold outside. It's like it's snowing, but not quite. Mushy cold rain slush. Blah.
So, outside fun is out, because outside is no fun. Here are some things we've been doing:
Unpacking and unpacking.
Playing new Wii game: Mario Party 8!
Tivo'd the Star Trek Voyager series. Cuz Captain Janeway and Seven of Nine is like mah favorites.
Having college age kids over for Bible studies and feeding them a lot of pasta.
Working crazy long hours - both of us have been.
Okay, so another weird thing: what is with the drug-seekers all coming out of the woodwork and like harrassing me at work?! Seriously. 4 separate patients today were all like demanding narcotics. One guy was like wandering around the hallway in his gown all like, "Oh, nurse, I left a GIANT bottle of pain killers here somewhere on the floor... or maybe in this cabinet..." he was compliant when I, ahem, escorted him away, but he started freaking out on me when he realized there was no way in heck we would give him narcotics.
Geez. People are crazy!
